Join the City of West Kelowna for the 2024 West Kelowna Light Up! celebration on Brown Road in Westbank Centre! This free, family-friendly event on Friday, December 6, 2024, features holiday music, various activities, food trucks, complimentary hot chocolate, and a craft market at the Westbank Lions’ Community Centre. Children can enjoy special appearances by Santa, the Grinch, and characters from Frozen.
A highlight of the evening is the tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 p.m., where Santa and the Mayor will arrive on a Zamboni and fire truck to flip the switch. Free glow sticks and twinkle balloons will add to the festive spirit, while the night concludes with a fireworks show at 7:45 p.m. (weather permitting), launched from Memorial Park/City Hall and visible from many areas in the community.
