A visit to Davison Orchards is an annual tradition for many families, offering a mix of farm life, fun, and education. Admission to the farm is free, and with plenty of space for kids to run and numerous activities to enjoy, it’s the perfect spot for a day out.
The Crazy Cow Kids Corral offers an acre of fun with haystacks, treehouses with slides, toy tractors, duck races, and 2 large sandboxes. Kids can also enjoy unique tire horse swings, while parents relax in lawn chairs with coffee.
Kids will love meeting and feeding friendly farm animals like goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, and donkeys. Bring extra quarters for the vending machines that dispense animal feed—they won’t want to stop!
Country Village Gift Shop is packed with home décor, candles, kids’ toys, books, souvenirs, and local crafts. Be sure to check out their homemade jams, preserves, and famous deep-dish apple pie. Visit The Davison Fruit Co (The Produce Area), open in July through October, to purchase farm-fresh fruit and vegetables harvested right on-site.
When it’s time to eat, the Farmhouse Café serves homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods like their popular cinnamon buns. Don’t miss their fresh apple juice or a hot coffee—with options like lattes, cappuccinos, and caramel macchiatos. Enjoy your meal inside or on their two patios.
The kids will love the real fruit ice cream at The Old Brick Press. Choose from Blueberry, Strawberry, Raspberry or Mixed Berry, available in waffle cones, crunchy cones, or cups.
Young tractor lovers will enjoy climbing aboard the small tractors in the play area. The farm also showcases a collection of vintage John Deere tractors, offering great photo opportunities and a glimpse into farming history. The Johnny Popper Orchard Tour takes visitors on a tractor-driven train ride through the orchards, providing a fun and educational look at farm life and seasonal crops. The apple bin train cars are always a hit with kids, and tickets are available in the Country Village.
