Oliver offers great programs for all ages including, library time, StrongStart, playgroups, and more!Please check their websites and Facebook pages for hours of operation as these groups may change their hours. *StrongStart is only open on school days and will be closed on Pro-D days, school breaks, and holidays. Some programs do not run during spring and summer break.

The Oliver Library is a welcoming branch of the Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) system, located in Oliver. It offers a good selection of books, DVDs, audiobooks, and digital resources, along with public computers and free Wi-Fi. The library also hosts regular programs for children, teens, and adults, making it a hub for learning in town.

Oliver StrongStart – Oliver Elementary

Located at Oliver Elementary School, StrongStart is a free school-based early learning drop-in program offered on school days. Your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in story time where they will sing songs, and exercise during gym time (where applicable). You will complete a registration form on your first day. Please also be prepared to provide legal proof of identification for your child.
