Horseback Riding

Bridlewood Riding is a horseback riding centre located in Lake Country, between Kelowna and Vernon in the Okanagan Valley. The facility offers English and Western riding lessons for ages five and up, guided trail rides through hundreds of acres of scenic ranchland, family fun rides, riding camps for children and adults, and boarding. Three outdoor riding rings, a round pen, and a full range of equipment are on-site, with instructors focused on rider position, balance, and safety.

Okanagan Stables has been offering guided horseback riding in the Okanagan Valley since 1987. Located in Oyama, the stables are easily accessible from Kelowna, Vernon, and Lake Country, and welcome riders of all ages and experience levels. Owners John and Sharon Molund pride themselves on making every rider feel comfortable, with trails that offer spectacular views across the region.

Sagebrush Stables offers a hands-on farm adventure perfect for families and animal lovers of all ages. Their guided one-hour tours include meet-and-greets with friendly farm animals like ponies, horses, goats, chickens, and ducks. Kids (and grown-ups!) can safely feed the horses using strainers and a generous helping of mash. In addition to tours, they host fun and educational Spring Break and Summer Camps where kids can spend more time with the animals and enjoy life on the farm.

Golden Pony Equestrian creates horses and riders who are confident in each other, and enjoy riding in a fun, safe environment. Riders of all ages can learn the basics of riding or improve their skills on their own horse, or a school horse.
