Bridlewood Riding is a full-service equestrian centre set on acres of farmland in Lake Country, BC, between Kelowna and Vernon in the Okanagan Valley. The property features three outdoor riding rings (including lighting for evening riding), a round pen, jumps, and sweeping views of the surrounding valley and lakes.
Riding lessons are available for ages five and up in both English and Western disciplines. Instruction is tailored to the individual, with a strong emphasis on rider position and balance as the foundation for all other skills. Lessons can be taken on Bridlewood’s schooling horses, matched to the student’s age and ability, or with your own horse. The facility’s Equine Canada Competition Coach also prepares and evaluates students for the Equine Canada Rider Level Program, a national achievement program for recreational and competitive riders alike.
Family Fun Rides are available for ages five and up, with groups of one to five participants riding together under the supervision of a certified coach. Riders explore the activity centre and navigate obstacles like bridges, logs, and teeter-totters, as well as scenic mini-mountain trails. Fun Rides are suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
Guided trail rides take riders through hundreds of acres of ranchland with views of the Okanagan Valley and lakes. Rides are available for all experience levels, offered in small groups, and include a warm-up before heading out on the trail. Trail rides are available for riders 10 and up.
Riding camps for both children and adults combine mounted instruction with hands-on horse care, covering grooming, tack, and health management in a structured, supportive setting. Avilable in spring and summer. Boarding is also available on-site.
