Oliver StrongStart at Oliver Elementary is a free, play-based early learning drop-in centre where you and your young child (ages 0–5) can take part in stories, music, art, and other hands-on activities together. Healthy, nutritious snacks are provided to families at no cost. StrongStart programs use the outdoor space available at the school, weather permitting.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Follows the school calendar and is closed on statutory holidays, Pro-D days, and school breaks.
Registration
This drop-in program is available on a first come, first served basis. Please bring the following documentation on your first visit: Proof of child’s birthdate, child’s care card, prrof residency (two documents). Be sure to check in with the facilitator of office staff as soon as you arrive at the StrongStart BC program. They can assist with this process and answer any questions you might have.
StrongStart programs are operated by Okanagan Similkameen SD53 and funded by the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
