Okanagan Science Centre
The Okanagan Science Centre is a great place to explore the wonders of science and technology as the centre offers a variety of interactive exhibits and educational programs. From hands-on displays to live demonstrations, there’s always something new to discover.
The Okanagan Science Centre spans two levels, offering plenty to explore with a rotating selection of exhibits to keep each visit exciting. Exhibits have included Critter Corner, Geology Rocks, Paleontology, a Toddler & Sensory Area, LEGO & Engineering, Light & Sound, the Space Room, the Energy Room, and more.
One of the centre’s standout features is the AI Playground & Robotics Lab, where kids can delve into the world of artificial intelligence and robotics through interactive activities. Additionally, the Astronomy and Planetarium section allows families to explore the cosmos and learn about the mysteries of space.
For a perfect Birthday party, they offer exciting party packages where kids can dive into hands-on science-themed activities like Little Scientists, Bubble Bash, Crazy Chemistry, Ooey Gooey, Prehistoric Party, or Blast into Space, with themes tailored to different age groups. Each party includes 45 minutes of interactive programming, 30 minutes of exploration in the Science Centre galleries, and an additional hour in the party room for a total of two hours of non-stop excitement. Families are welcome to bring cake, snacks, and beverages, along with any serving utensils. Adult supervision is required at all times.
