The Peachland Museum shares its space with the Peachland Visitor Centre, so you can pick up local maps and information while you are there.
Upstairs is the main draw for families. The Central Okanagan Railway Company (CORC) has built a model train layout that wraps around the entire room, based on Kettle Valley Railway operations from Nelson to Hope during the decade from 1955 to 1965. Kids can press interactive buttons to start the trains moving and pull a cord to sound the train whistle. The same upstairs space includes a working typewriter and a rotary phone for kids to try.
Downstairs features coins and other historical items on display, along with a candy selection for sale. Bring a bit of change so the kids can pick out a treat.
