Known to locals as the Peanut Pool, Lakeview Wading Pool has been a Vernon summer staple since 1958. A new pool opened in 2024, featuring a gradual entry design, change rooms, washrooms, and a wheelchair and transfer lift. Admission is free and public swim runs throughout the summer. A snack shack on-site offers refreshments and snacks, swimming lessons are available through Vernon Recreation Services, and weekend birthday party time slots can be booked through the City of Vernon.
Located next to Lakeview Park and Lakeview Splash Pad, there’s plenty to keep kids busy before and after a swim.
