Kalamalka Rotary Skateboard Park has been a fixture in Polson Park since 1999, drawing skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts from across Vernon. The layout includes multiple bowls, a snakerun connecting different sections, ledges, a handrail, stair-style banks, and quarterpipe transitions, giving riders of all skill levels room to practice tricks and work through new lines.
The skatepark is just one part of Polson Park, which also includes a playground, picnic areas, and walking paths. Bleacher-style seating sits nearby for parents and spectators to watch from, and light poles around the park keep it usable into the evening. The park is free and open to the public year-round.
