Join us for Girls in STEAM at the Okanagan Science Centre on March 8th from 5:30-7:30pm, where young minds will be inspired to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics! This event welcomes youth to engage with hands-on science and ignite their passion for STEAM careers. It’s going to be an empowering night of inspiration, creativity, and community—encouraging everyone to dream big and explore the endless possibilities within STEAM!
This inspiring event will include:
- Science Exhibits including the Planetarium and Gyro Chair Rides
- Science Demonstrations
- AI Playground & Robotics Lab
- STEAM Activity Stations*
- Pizza and other small treats provided
- Swag Bags (for registered youth only)
Location: Okanagan Science Centre (2704 Hwy 6, Vernon)
Date: March 8th, 2025
Time: 5:30-7:30pm (no early entry)
Cost: $5/per youth +tax (youth considered under 18 years old)
This is an ALL-AGES event. Registration is required. Adults are free with the purchase of a youth ticket. Parents/Chaperones must remain with youth at all times during the event.
*We have invited several other organizations to join us for this awesome evening and bring information, STEAM activities, etc. More details to come!
