Head down to Memorial Park in Summerland on Tuesday, July 1st for a community-focused event hosted by the Summerland Legion Branch 22 and their amazing partners.
The day starts bright and early from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast—a great way to fuel up before the festivities!
Then at 11 am, gather for the flag-raising ceremony and speeches from local dignitaries. From there, enjoy a full lineup of fun including:
- Free Canada Day cake
- Free BBQ, ice cream, and pop
- Face painting and sparkle tattoos for the kids
- Kids prizes
- And a fire truck on site
Note: The event is currently scheduled for Memorial Park, but with ongoing construction on Wharton Street, there’s a chance the location may change. Be sure to check summerlandlegion.com for the latest updates.
