StrongStart Penticton – Queen’s Park Elementary

StrongStart Penticton is a free, play-based early learning program for children aged birth to five and their caregivers, offering a welcoming space filled with opportunities to play, create, and explore together. At Queen’s Park Elementary, families can enjoy cozy reading areas, a pretend play kitchen, art and sensory tables, and a tent for imaginative adventures. The program also has access to the school gym for active play, plus an outdoor playground for fresh-air fun.

Schedule

– Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
– Wednesday Evening: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
– Closed Fridays
– Follows the school calendar and is closed on statutory holidays, Pro-D days, and school breaks.

Registration

Register in person on your first visit. Bring proof of your child’s identification (birth certificate, passport, PR card, Aboriginal Status card). The facilitator will guide you through the process. You can also print the form and fill it in advance.
