Last Mountain Park has a newer playground with a main play structure that includes slides and interconnected climbing elements. The swing area includes a traditional swing, a bucket swing for younger children, and a saucer swing nearby. There is also a rope spinner where kids can stand and spin, along with a track ride zipline that runs across part of the playground, a hit with the older kids.
Beyond the playground, the park includes a large grassy area, tennis courts, picnic tables, and access to forested walking trails. Signs posted around the park remind visitors to keep dogs on leash and to be aware of wildlife in the area.
