South Vernon Park is a neighbourhood park with two play structures. There’s a tube slide, a curved slide, side by side slides, climbing elements, and a few platforms to scramble between. Off to the side there’s a swing set with two traditional swings. The playground sits on a wood chip surface.
Beyond the playground, there’s a basketball court, plus a grassy area for running around or kicking a ball. A bench and picnic table sit next to the play area. The park is fenced with several tress in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Street parking is available.
