Located across from Cherryville Elementary School, drive down the hill into Hanson Park and you’ll find a playground. The main play structure is built for ages 5 to 12 and has a spiral slide plus a set of side-by-side slides, along with climbing elements, a play sterering wheel, and number and word panels. Nearby, the swing set has one bucket swing and one traditional swing, plus a hammock swing, a spring rider, and a spinner seat.
The park also has an outdoor skating rink in the winter months, and every year it’s home to Cherryville Days.
