The Vernon Flying Club has its 80th Anniversary in 2026, as is the Vernon Airport. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we are hosting an Airport Appreciation Day (AAD) on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 10:00 to 3:00.
We hope to provide an entertaining family event for the residents and visitors to the North Okanagan as well as promote the flying club and the airport.
Admission will be by donation and any net proceeds will go to the Vernon Flying Club Scholarship Fund.
Please note that there will be NO PARKING at the airport. Parking will be at Fulton School with a shuttle bus. As well, the City’s vacant lot next to the Sani-Dump will be used.
