Armstrong Drop-In Programs

Discover programs in Armstrong that you can participate in with your children at the last minute, either through drop-in or pre-registration. The majority of these programs are available at no cost. Armstrong provides a fantastic array of activities for young children, including family drop-ins, skateparks, skating, and many more options!

*Please check websites and Facebook pages to verify programs’ hours of operation. StrongStart is only open on school days and will be closed on Pro-D days and holidays. Some programs do not run during spring and summer break.

StrongStart is a free school-based early learning program offered on school days. Your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in storytime where they will sing songs, and exercise during gym time (where applicable).

Pregnancy Outreach Program Drop-In
About: For families that are pregnant or have a baby up to 6 months old. Parenting discussions, healthy lunch, childminding and a health nurse are available.

Recharge and Reconnect
About: A free drop-in caregiver and child playgroup for children from birth to age 5. We provide a space for parents and caregivers to “recharge” and “reconnect” with others while your children play. We provide coffee, tea, and a healthy snack for the kids. In the summer months, it takes place at Memorial Park.
