Granny’s Fruit Stand, Bakery & Café
This charming fruit stand sells local, in-season fruit that is NEVER imported. They only sell what is available in BC from strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and peaches to English peas, asparagus, tomatoes, pumpkins and squash.
They also serve 16 flavors of ice cream which come in kids’, single, and double sizes, with options for regular or waffle cones, as well as to-go cups.
They also offer a gumball and a toy machine (our kids loved).
Their bakery has a separate entrance and they sell sandwiches, soups, salads, and fresh baked goods including Cinnamon Buns, Seasonal Fruit Pies, Waffles with Fruit Topping, buns, and bread.
The full espresso bar serving hot and iced coffee drinks is my husband’s favourite part of this place as they are passionate about selling good coffee and he is passionate about drinking it.
You can order take-out or eat your food on their patio or inside the bakery. Their pies are very popular and can sell out fast, so go early!
Open 7 days a week during peak season which is mid-June until the end of October.
