Set right along the shore of Skaha Lake, John Bell Playground in Kenyon Park is a fun, family-friendly spot with plenty to keep kids busy. The main play structure is great for older kids and includes three wave slides, monkey bars, a climbing wall, an overhead track ride, and lots of ways to climb up and around. Right beside it, there’s a smaller structure built just for toddlers, with two easy slides and low platforms that are perfect for little ones finding their confidence.
The playground also features traditional swings, bucket swings for younger kids, a four-person spring teeter-totter, big rubber climbing tires, and a spinning stand-up merry-go-round. Down near the beach, two sand diggers give kids a chance to scoop, dig, and play in the sand.
Next to the playground, the OK Falls Spray Park (open seasonally) adds another layer of fun with splash features. The surrounding park has grassy areas for running and relaxing, along with picnic tables, benches, and seasonal public washrooms.
Kenyon Park is also just a short walk from Christie Memorial Park, which offers more green space and beach access. With shaded spots, lake views, and a variety of ways to play, this is a go-to park for families spending time in Okanagan Falls.
