Nestled in downtown Kelowna, Kasugai Gardens offers a perfect, free family activity during the spring and summer months.
Take a stroll through the gardens, where you will see a pond with koi fish, a variety of plants and flowers, and small structures that enhance the traditional Japanese garden aesthetic. Signs at the entrance remind guests of garden etiquette, including prohibiting dogs and bicycles.
The park is open from early March until late October. There are bridges over the water, where you can see koi fish.
Kasugai Gardens is tucked away within a walled enclosure, making it easy to miss from nearby streets. You’ll find it just east of Kelowna City Hall, close to the Queensway Transit Exchange.
