Marina Way Park

Marina Way Park is a peaceful 4-acre lakefront spot near downtown Penticton. The park has a small sandy beach with a gradual water entry, which is nice for the kids. Across the street is a Café, making it easy to grab a coffee or snack.

Up the path from the beach area, you’ll find the Xeriscape Demonstration Garden. Xeriscaping is a method of landscaping with water conservation in mind, and it shows how this can be achieved by following seven basic principles—something fun and educational to share with the kids.

Also nearby is the Penticton-Ikeda Japanese Garden, where kids will enjoy spotting the large koi swimming in the pond. It’s a quiet, relaxing spot surrounded by beautifully maintained landscaping.
