Description

The Okanagan Falls Heritage Museum gives visitors a glimpse into the daily life of the community’s early residents. Housed in the historic Bassett House, the museum is laid out much like a home from the late 1800s to early 1900s, with furnished rooms that include a parlour, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, and children’s spaces. The displays feature original and donated items, from woodstoves and hand-stitched quilts to toys, books, and household tools.

Located right near Tickleberry’s Ice Cream and the Thrift Shoppe, the museum is open seasonally in the summer and makes for an easy stop while exploring Okanagan Falls. Volunteers help maintain and share the history, including stories about the Bassett family and the town’s development.
