The Penticton BMX Track, located just below Munson Mountain, is a city-owned dirt track open to the public for recreational riding. Featuring a series of rollers, berms, and jumps, it’s a great spot for kids and families to build biking skills or just burn off some energy. The track is free to use and open daily from 7 am until dusk, except when closed for races or after rain, as wet conditions can damage the surface.
Maintained by the Penticton BMX Club, the track also hosts organized races every second Thursday evenings from April to October. The club welcomes riders of all ages and offers a free one-day trial for those interested in trying BMX racing. Any bike is allowed as long as it’s not motorized or throttle-equipped. Helmets are mandatory, and children must be supervised as the site is not staffed.
