Penticton Museum & Archives
The Penticton Museum & Archives is a fun and interactive place for families to explore together. While there are fascinating exhibits about local history, nature, and culture, the real highlight for kids is the Hands-On Heritage Lab. This interactive area lets kids (and adults!) dive into hands-on learning—build an earthquake-proof tower, discover how airplanes fly, watch a working steam engine, and play with an augmented reality sandbox that responds to touch.
Families can also grab a scavenger hunt sheet at the front desk, turning the entire museum into a fun adventure as kids search for hidden items and clues throughout the exhibits. And don’t forget to stop by and say hello to the museum’s friendly resident snake!
