Skaha Lake Park
Skaha Lake Park in Penticton is a scenic, family-friendly park offering a wide variety of amenities, including a sandy beach, multiple playgrounds, a splash pad, sports courts, picnic areas, fire pits, seasonal concession stands, public washrooms, and a beautiful open-air pavilion.
Located along the shoreline of Skaha Lake, the park features a long swimming beach with floating rafts and beach slides—great for families with young kids.
The two playgrounds include Rotary Play World, with three separate structures and swings, and Discovery Park, a nature-themed space with boulders, logs, slides, and musical play elements. Right next to Rotary Play World is Skaha Lake Splash Pad, a fun, water-filled play area that’s perfect for cooling off on hot days.
Active visitors can take advantage of sand volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, as well as an in-line hockey area and softball field.
There are plenty of shaded picnic tables, wide open grassy spaces, and fire pits available when permitted. Seasonal concessions, including Tickleberry’s, offer snacks and cold treats, with washrooms conveniently located in two areas.
The Rotary Centennial Pavilion is an open-air gazebo featuring timber and stone architecture is located in this park and can be rented out for special occasions through the City.
Free parking is available in several spots, making it easy to enjoy everything the park has to offer.
