Summerland Museum and Archives
The Summerland Museum and Archives is a welcoming place to discover the stories that shaped this Okanagan community. Families can take a self-guided tour through exhibits on the Syilx (Okanagan) people, early pioneers, orchards, and railway history. The main floor features both permanent and rotating displays, while upstairs you will find the popular model railway, a miniature world that kids can bring to life with the press of a button. Step stools are available so little ones can see all the details.
The museum is wheelchair accessible and offers an atmosphere that works well for children who enjoy quieter spaces. Open most of the year with longer hours in summer, entry is by donation.
