The Apple Bin
The Apple Bin in Okanagan Falls offers fresh, local produce 24/7. Located just minutes from downtown Okanagan Falls and about 20 minutes from Penticton, it’s easily accessible via Highway 97 or the scenic Eastside Road, where you might spot deer or California Bighorn Sheep along the way.
Operating on an honor system, choose the produce you want, weigh them, then deposit money into a metal box.
Recent offerings have included Ambrosia apples, pears, corn, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, peaches, green jalapeño peppers, green peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant.
Remember to bring your own grocery bags and cash, including coins, as credit and debit cards are not accepted.
In October, The Apple Bin offers additional family fun with their corn maze. Open Saturdays and Sundays, the maze offers an exciting adventure for all ages. The Corn Maze is located in OK Falls near 9th Ave & Maple Street. There is an admission fee to explore the maze.
After navigating the maze, families can enjoy homemade kettle corn and purchase fresh apples. Please note, pets are not allowed on the property during this event.
