Westbank Museum
The Westbank Museum is an easy and enjoyable stop for families wanting to learn about West Kelowna’s past. You can explore at your own pace, moving through exhibits that include a recreated schoolroom, pioneer storefronts, and displays about the area’s orchards, packinghouses, and railways. The collection also features vintage household items, photographs, and tools that give a glimpse into everyday life in earlier times.
Younger visitors can take part in the Beaver and Bear Hunt, searching for 21 small critters hidden among the displays. The museum is both stroller and wheelchair accessible, with wide pathways and level floors that make it comfortable for everyone to explore. Open all year with admission by donation, it is located inside the Visitor Centre, making it a convenient place to start your day in West Kelowna.
