Fruit Stands, Orchards & U-Pick

Griffin Farms is open around mid-July with Cherries and they stay open until October with a variety of fruit. Peaches, Apricots, Nectarines, Peach plums, Italian Prune plums and a variety of apples and pears. The fruit is available for u-pick when it is ripe and while supplies last. They also sell tomatoes, pickling cukes, corn, peppers, and sometimes other veggies.

At Kelowna Fruit n Veggies, discover a vast array of fresh produce, from certified organic Ambrosia and Gala apples to a colorful selection of vegetables and peppers, alongside unpasteurized honey and various melons. Located in West Kelowna’s Lakeview Heights, Kings Garden Family Orchard is a family-run fruit stand offering a fresh selection of Okanagan-grown produce. Spanning 2 acres, the orchard focuses on quality over quantity, with all fruit hand-picked at peak ripeness.

KLO Farm Market in Kelowna is a family-run spot offering fresh local produce, dairy, meats, eggs, sauces, and more since 2019. It’s also a fun outing for families, with friendly farm animals like goats, ducks, and a pig, plus a seasonal U-Pick zinnia flower garden. Kids can cool off with one of 12 ice cream flavors, and when hunger strikes, El Taco Loco food truck is right on-site.

Log Barn 1912 is a quirky, family-friendly stop along Highway 97 near Armstrong that blends country charm with fun roadside attractions. A favorite with both locals and tourists, it’s known for Dave’s Goat Walk—a hilarious and interactive setup where goats climb high platforms and get fed by pulley! There are also life-sized dinosaur and animal statues for fun photo ops, a small playground, and plenty of space for kids to roam. Be sure to try their ice cream or homemade pie and browse the market for local sausages, cheeses, and preserves.

Nestled on the Golden Mile Bench between Oliver and Osoyoos, Orchard Hill Estate Cidery & Fruit Market is set on a 14-acre orchard. Known for their crisp, small-batch ciders made from Okanagan-grown dessert apples, they offer unique flavours like cherry, peach, and their signature Red Roof Apple Cider. The seasonal fruit stand features fresh produce, local jams, honey, and non-alcoholic drinks—making it a fun and welcoming stop for families exploring the South Okanagan. Open from May long weekend through Halloween.

Paynter's Fruit Market orchards boast a variety of trees bearing cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, apples, and pears. These delicious fruits are available for purchase in-store. All produce is 100% local. The Market is 2000 square feet and has over 1000 local products all grown, made or produced in BC from over 100 different BC based companies. The market has 30+ flavours of hard ice cream, making it a perfect treat for children and adults alike.
