Fruit Stands, Orchards & U-Pick

KLO Farm Market in Kelowna is a family-run spot offering fresh local produce, dairy, meats, eggs, sauces, and more since 2019. It’s also a fun outing for families, with friendly farm animals like goats, ducks, and a pig, plus a seasonal U-Pick zinnia flower garden. Kids can cool off with one of 12 ice cream flavors, and when hunger strikes, El Taco Loco food truck is right on-site.

Log Barn 1912 is a quirky, family-friendly stop along Highway 97 near Armstrong that blends country charm with fun roadside attractions. A favorite with both locals and tourists, it’s known for Dave’s Goat Walk—a hilarious and interactive setup where goats climb high platforms and get fed by pulley! There are also life-sized dinosaur and animal statues for fun photo ops, a small playground, and plenty of space for kids to roam. Be sure to try their ice cream or homemade pie and browse the market for local sausages, cheeses, and preserves.

Nestled on the Golden Mile Bench between Oliver and Osoyoos, Orchard Hill Estate Cidery & Fruit Market is set on a 14-acre orchard. Known for their crisp, small-batch ciders made from Okanagan-grown dessert apples, they offer unique flavours like cherry, peach, and their signature Red Roof Apple Cider. The seasonal fruit stand features fresh produce, local jams, honey, and non-alcoholic drinks—making it a fun and welcoming stop for families exploring the South Okanagan. Open from May long weekend through Halloween.

Paynter's Fruit Market orchards boast a variety of trees bearing cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, apples, and pears. These delicious fruits are available for purchase in-store. All produce is 100% local. The Market is 2000 square feet and has over 1000 local products all grown, made or produced in BC from over 100 different BC based companies. The market has 30+ flavours of hard ice cream, making it a perfect treat for children and adults alike.

This 25-acre family orchard has been growing Okanagan produce since the mid-1920s. They sell apples, peaches, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, melons, and sweet corn. Ringo-en Orchards invites you to their fields for a u-pick adventure, where you can harvest your own apples, peaches, tomatoes, and peppers directly from the plant.

Rose Hill Orchard sells strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, apricots, apples and some berries (gooseberry, currant, haskap, blackberry, raspberry) from their orchard. U-Pick is available. Also available for sale at their orchard are vegetables, bc honey, eggs, apple juice, cheese, baked goods, frozen chicken from local farms, coffee, snacks and ice cream.

The Apple Bin in Okanagan Falls offers fresh, local produce 24/7 on an honor system—just weigh your selection and leave cash payment. Located minutes from downtown Okanagan Falls and 20 minutes from Penticton, it’s accessible via Highway 97 or scenic Eastside Road. Seasonal offerings include apples, pears, peaches, tomatoes, and more.

There & Back Again Farms grows apricots, apples, cherries, plums, table grapes, and strawberries. They support other local farmers and also bring in blueberries, cherries, peaches, and melons. Follow them on Instagram (@taba.farms) where they share what's in season and available at the farm stand.

Starting in July, u-pick cherries and apples are available until the end of August. Cherry varieties include Lapins, Staccatos, and Sentinels. During their fruit growing season, they are open 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm.
