Canada Day in Lake Country
The Canada Day annual celebration event is organized by Rotary Club of Lake Country with assistance from the Lake Country Fire Department, the Parks team, your favourite service clubs, businesses, and many amazing volunteers! Check out the list of activities and treats you can expect to enjoy.
Please leave the parking lot at Swalwell Park for those with mobility challenges; walk, cycle or carpool; and leave pets at home where it is cool and calm for them.
8-11:30 am Rotary pancake breakfast
8-noon Face painting by LC Family Place
8-noon Local business and service agency displays
9-noon Vintage costume and photo booth (by LC Museum and Archives)
9-noon Children’s art activities (by the Lake Country Art Gallery)
9:30-10:15 Leif the Magician
10:15-10:45 Lake Country Agility Mutts
10:30-11 JS Garcia band (stage)
10:30-noon FREE ‘Cool Treats’ (by Lake Country Lions Club)
10:30-noon FREE Canada Day cupcakes (by Rotary Club of Lake Country)
10:30-noon FREE cut watermelon (by Save On Foods)
11-11:15 am O Canada & official Canada Day ceremony
11:45-noon JS Garcia band continued
