A place where your little ones can play, learn, explore, and celebrate! Our indoor playground is designed for children ages 1 to 12. From drop-in fun to hosted events, everything is clean, safe, and full of joy. Our friendly team is here to make every visit fun, easy, and stress-free for parents.

Play Area Kelowna is an indoor playground designed for children ages 9 months to 10 years. It offers a low-stress environment for parents and a safe space for kids to climb, explore, and enjoy learning and imaginative play during visits. They also host birthday parties, school and group field trips, seasonal camps, private events, and offer gift cards, making it a great option for year-round indoor fun.

Visit Planet Bee Honey Farm and Meadery where visitors can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities. Kids can peek into the glass observatory hives to spot the Queen Bee (look for the white dot), try on a beekeeper suit for a fun photo, enjoy story time (select dates), and explore bee-themed toys, puzzles, and games. There’s lots to see, do, and learn during your visit!

Vernon's only indoor climbing gym, The Rock Garden Climbing Centre, offers 4,000 sq ft of fun for climbers of all ages and abilities. Families can enjoy top-rope routes, a dedicated bouldering zone, and a mezzanine cave with climbs reaching up to 19 feet. It’s a welcoming space for both beginners and experienced climbers.

McDonald’s Vernon is a family-friendly stop that features an indoor PlayPlace designed to keep kids active and entertained. With space to climb, slide, and explore, it’s a convenient option for a casual meal or a quick break during the day.

The Boarding House Café in downtown Vernon is the city's only board game café, offering a cozy spot to play from a library of over 300 games. Just 4 Fun is a treasure trove for kids, packed with fun toys, games, and collectibles, from plushies and puzzles to Pokémon cards and fidget toys. Kids will love browsing the colorful displays, picking out their favorite items, and enjoying a free lollipop too! They even offer a play area so bring some friends and come enjoy playing any of their 500 board games for free! 

The Okanagan Science Centre is a fun, hands-on place where kids can explore science, technology, and space. With two levels of interactive exhibits, there's always something new to discover. Highlights include the AI Playground & Robotics Lab, where kids can experiment with artificial intelligence and robotics, and the Astronomy and Planetarium area, perfect for curious minds who love space. The S.S. Sicamous in Penticton is a beautifully restored 1914 paddlewheeler turned museum, offering a hands-on journey through Okanagan history. Families can explore the ship’s decks, captain’s quarters, and interactive exhibits—plus, don’t miss the detailed model train display, a hit with kids and train enthusiasts alike. Located right on Okanagan Lake, it’s steps away from the beach, ice cream, restaurants and scenic walks.
