Girouard Park is a great little neighbourhood spot with a solid playground set up for kids of all ages. There’s a mix of climbing structures, monkey bars, swings, slides, and a wavy climbing wall that’s a fun challenge for adventurous climbers. The playground is set on wood chips and has lots of open space for running around. One of the nicest features of this park is the small creek that runs through it.

Lakeview Park in Vernon is a spacious playground area perfect for families with kids of all ages. The playground includes a variety of slides, swings, climbing structures, and balance challenges. It’s designed with wood chip ground covering and has open areas for free play. The park also features a splash pad, providing a way for kids to cool off in the summer, along with a covered picnic area for family gatherings.

Polson Park is home to a playground, skateboard park, tennis courts, and washrooms. They playground features monkey bars, slides, swings and climbing elements. A large grassy area surrounds the park for running and playing. They have a few buddy benches surrounding the playground.

The DND Playground in Vernon is a spacious play area that opened in fall 2024. It offers a great mix of equipment for all ages, including multiple slides, crawl-through tunnels, and various climbing features like ladders, curved bars, and a small climbing wall. The playground also includes a basket swing, a bucket swing, a traditional swing, spring riders, and a spinner. The surface is covered in wood chips, and there are benches nearby.

The Jumpstart Inclusive Playground in Vernon is a fun and accessible play space located in Marshall Field Park. This fully inclusive playground features ramps, sensory play elements, adaptive swings, smooth rubber surfacing and so much more.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Kalamalka Lake, the Kekuli Bay playground offers a simple but fun space for kids to climb, slide, and explore. The main structure includes two slides, climbing poles, and a small obstacle course, perfect for a bit of active play.

Davison Orchards offers families an expansive 1-acre playground called the Crazy Cow Kids Corral, where fun never ends! Kids can explore hay stack tunnels, climb into a tree house, dig in the sand, compete in duck races, and play on the tractors.

Creekside Park in Coldstream features a large playground with fun climbing structures, swings, and slides for children of all ages. The playground is surrounded by beautiful grass, offering plenty of space for outdoor games.

Civic Memorial Park offers a balloon-themed playground for children aged 2 to 5 years old. The park features a variety of play structures, including swings, slides, and a hot air balloon-inspired play tower, with natural wood elements seamlessly integrated into the design, including a soft wood chip surface.
