We had heard about GottaGoat Farm in Penticton for a while, and we finally made the trip! We were lucky to visit when the ‘kids’ were brand new (some just a week old). It was an adorable experience, and the farm is a fun and educational outing for all ages.

Getting to the Farm

From Highway 97 in Penticton, turn onto Green Mountain Road (at the intersection by Home Hardware) and follow the signs for Apex Mountain Resort. Drive through the Penticton Indian Band reserve and continue along Green Mountain Road for approximately 20 km.

At the Apex Horse Ranch, you’ll come to a “Y” intersection. Stay to the left to avoid heading to Apex. GottaGoat Farm is just one more kilometer from this intersection on the left side.

Parking and Payment

Upon arrival, park on the left side beside the barn. This is where the tour will begin.

The Goat Tour

The tour starts inside the covered barn, where you’ll be greeted by friendly goats, including some adorable baby goats if you visit at the right time of year.

The owners are knowledgeable and passionate about their goats, eager to share fun facts and stories. Visitors get to ask questions, pet the goats, and even help with grooming.

In addition to farm visits, GottaGoat Farm offers goat yoga – a playful and therapeutic yoga experience where adorable goats freely interact with participants, adding fun and laughter to traditional poses. Expect goats to nuzzle, play, and even climb on you, making for a lighthearted and stress-relieving workout like no other!
