Our family recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Penticton, and it was a hit! Centrally located in Penticton, this hotel offered everything from spacious rooms to kid-friendly amenities. It was nice to have a cozy spot to wind down after a day of family-fun activities.

Location
Located at 602 Eckhardt Avenue West, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Penticton is within walking distance of the South Okanagan Events Centre, the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre, and Cascade Casinos. The first night we stayed here, we walked across the road to watch a Penticton Vees play home game.

Rooms
The rooms were modern, perfect for families. With options including a spacious one King Sofa Guestroom, a one King Sofa Bed Suite, or a comfortable two Queen Guestroom, every family can find their fit. We opted for the one King Sofa Bed Suite and the girls enjoyed the extra space, two TVs, and a sofa bed. Our room came equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee/tea maker.
Pool and Hot Tub
Our girls couldn’t stop talking about the pool and hot tub; it was their favorite part of the trip!
The pool was perfect for them, shallow enough at 3 feet 4 inches to feel safe and deep enough at 4 feet 6 inches to have loads of fun. And the hot tub? A total win. They loved the easy steps getting in, the jets, and the cool lights that changed color.
They loved the water fountain, and we appreciated the nearby chairs and side tables, making it easy to watch them and relax at the same time.
Fitness Room
The fitness room at the hotel is open 24 hours a day, offering guests the convenience of accessing it with their room key at any time. It’s a spacious facility, well-equipped with five types of exercise machines, including a treadmill for cardio workouts, an elliptical machine, and weights for strength training.
Additionally, there’s a water station to keep hydrated, a Bosu ball for balance exercises, and mats for stretching or yoga, an ideal space for guests looking to maintain their fitness routine while traveling.
Continental and Hot Breakfast
Our family enjoyed the breakfast selection at the hotel, finding something for everyone’s taste. There were stations for both hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, along with sausage, providing a hearty start to the day.
For lighter options, the oatmeal station offered a variety of toppings including chocolate chips which the kids loved, plus there were choices of cereal, fresh fruit, and yogurt.
The waffle station was particularly a hit with the kids, who had fun making their own waffles.
The coffee and tea station, complete with hot chocolate for the kids, was a warm welcome for everyone.
The dining area offered a variety of seating options, from cozy booths and high-top seats to individual tables.
The Corner Market
Right by the front desk, you’ll find the Corner Market, a convenient spot to grab a quick bite or a drink any time of day. It’s stocked with a variety of beverages, snacks, and microwave meals.
Plus, if you’ve forgotten any personal items at home, there’s a good chance you’ll find what you need here with 24-hour access.
