George Fisher Memorial Park is a quiet neighbourhood playground in Lumby. The 2025 refresh added a partially covered play tower with twin wave slides, a curved slide, a climbing wall, and spinning panels. Older kids tend to head straight for the tall standalone slide, which is steep and a favourite, along with the classic swing set with belt seats.
The mix of new and nostalgic is part of the charm here. Kids get modern climbing structures and vintage equipment, which the kids love. A small basketball court sits right beside the play area for a quick shootaround, and there’s a picnic table on site if you want to bring snacks. Tall trees keep much of the playground partially shaded.
