Join Colour Drop Design at the Westbank Museum on Saturday, September 19th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM to experience Culture Days Water Marbling Workshop! If you can sprinkle cheese on a pizza, and write your name with a pencil you can create magic with them!
Colour Drop Design brings the beautiful, ancient art of water marbling to the 21st century by inviting you to be the artist. Make your own water marbled paper and an 8 inch by 10 inch art canvas. The workshop begins with a demonstration. Each artist chooses their colours and floats the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water, then uses marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create the design of their liking. This workshop is open to all ages and abilities!
Ticket will include 5 papers & 1 art canvas. All designed & created by YOU! You can also enjoy a complimentary visit at the Westbank Museum.
Short sleeve shirts are recommended; aprons are provided.
