The Okanagan Science Centre is a great place to explore the wonders of science and technology as the centre offers a variety of interactive exhibits and educational programs. From hands-on displays to live demonstrations, there's always something new to discover. For a perfect Birthday party, they offer exciting party packages where kids can dive into hands-on science-themed activities like Little Scientists, Bubble Bash, Crazy Chemistry, Ooey Gooey, Prehistoric Party, or Blast into Space, with themes tailored to different age groups.

Okanagan Stables’ Intro & Mini Trail Ride Combo is perfect for first-time riders, young children, or anyone a bit apprehensive about horseback riding.

The Okanagan Training Rink offers traditional fun and excitement. Whether you want a casual game of hockey, or a relaxing free skate, the arena is a quaint and friendly centre. Planning a party? The ice and accompanying Party Room can be rented during the holidays and at select times during the week. Includes: 1 hour of ice time and 1 hour in the party room (up to 35 people)

Once Upon a Bookstore is a cozy independent shop specializing in children’s books, educational games, and unique gift items. With a curated selection for all ages, friendly staff offering personalized recommendations, and fun offerings like storytimes, author events, and birthday parties.

Use the upstairs of the Oyama Community Club to host your next birthday party. The space holds up to 100 people and includes bathrooms and a kitchen.

Oyama Zipline Adventure Park is a fantastic spot for family fun and outdoor adventures. The park features a 7-station zipline course with no hiking between lines, offering stunning views of Kalamalka Lake. Thrill-seekers can tackle the Aerial Park, a high ropes course with 27 obstacles and 6 ziplines at varying heights and difficulty levels. For younger kids, the Monkey Play Park provides a safe, enclosed tree-top adventure with rope bridges, obstacles, and ziplines designed for ages 3-11. It’s also a great venue for outdoor birthday parties, complete with a reserved picnic area and plenty of climbing and ziplining excitement.

The recreation centre offers a 25-meter swimming pool, a children’s play pool, and a whirlpool and steam room to the public. Public swimming and lane swimming is available during the allotted times below. The birthday package includes access to the swimming pool during the public swim, a private room with tables and chairs for food, cake, presents, and support from recreation staff if needed.

Enjoy access to the leisure pool featuring a lazy river and large whirlpool, spray features, and a waterslide (depending on the time). This modern facility provides zero-entry ramps to all three pools, sauna and steam room, deck-side seating and multi-purpose rooms, and spacious changing areas for men, women, and families. Choose to host a birthday party at one of their meeting rooms, book the gymnasium, or host a pool party. We booked meeting room #4 which offered plenty of space – tables and chairs were included in the rental.
