Burne Park is a cool playground in Kelowna with a great mix of features for different ages. Older kids will love the giant multi-storey wooden climbing tower with the long stainless steel tube slide that twists and curves all the way down.
The hill slide is great for toddlers and younger kids. It’s built into a sculpted rubberized mound with stepping stones, climbing bumps, and a rope traverse leading up the slope. The rubber surface is soft to climb on.
Tucked off to one side is a quieter play zone with a wooden bridge, log balance beams, climbing nets, and log stump steppers. Lots of natural wooden elements to climb, balance on, and explore.
There are picnic tables, benches, and some shaded spots for parents. One thing to know before you go: there are no dedicated parking stalls available, so plan to park on a side street and walk to the playground. There are also no washrooms available at this park.
