Kuipers Family Fruit Farm has been growing fruit in the Okanagan since 1921. The third-generation family farm offers U-pick cherries, apricots, peaches, and prunes across the summer season, with a new fruit stand and orchard entrance located 250 metres past the farm’s former entrance on Barnaby Road.
No reservations are required. Families can show up during regular hours, pick their own fruit, and pay by weight after picking. The farm gets busy during peak cherry season, so arriving earlier in the day means a more relaxed visit. There is an admission fee for ages 10 and up for u-pick. Cash, credit, debit or tap are all accepted.
The orchard has a park-like setting with mountain views, portable washrooms on-site, and leashed dogs are welcome. Kuipers provides reusable plastic bags for picking, though you’re welcome to bring your own containers.
What to Bring: Sun protection, water, comfortable footwear, and your own containers if preferred.
