Rutland Centennial Park is a large central park in Kelowna with a playground that has a variety of features. The main attraction is a tractor-themed play structure with a green and red design, and a slide. Nearby there’s a separate slide. There’s also a saucer swing, musical instruments with drums, chimes, and tubes for kids to bang on, plus stepping stones, a balance rail, and a balance beam with arched hoops to weave through. The whole playground sits on a soft rubber surface with colourful shapes painted into it, which is a nice change from the usual wood chips and easier on strollers and wheelchairs.
Beyond the playground, there are two outdoor ping pong tables with concrete bases, basketball courts, and a soccer field.
