facility for radio astronomy.
Whether you are an astronomy and astrophysics enthusiast or just curious about what a day in the life of a researcher or astrophysicist looks like, don’t miss this unique opportunity to quench your thirst for knowledge.
Located at 717 White Lake Road, the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory is a naturally occurring radio-silent site. Please turn OFF all electronics (airplane mode is not sufficient) before entering the site.
We will have kids activities, talks and tours on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10am-5pm. Open to all ages and abilities, and with free admission, we hope to see you there!
