If you go down in the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise – for today’s the day that the teddy bears have their tea party!
Bring your teddy bear (or your favourite stuffie) and join us for a family-friendly tea party at Mackie Lake House. We’ll have sandwiches, “tea,” and yummy desserts. Stick around after tea for story time and a walk up to Fylton Forest—you might just find an exciting surprise!
Parents: please note that all children must be accompanied to the tea by a responsible, ticket-holding adult. Please only bring stuffed animals—our local deer do not appreciate dogs and other pets. This event takes place in late July, please dress accordingly and bring sunscreen.
Mackie Lake House is a registered heritage site, operated by a charitable non-profit organization with the mandate: to preserve and present the building, grounds, furnishings and related history of Mackie Lake House for the enjoyment and education of the public.
