StrongStart is a free school-based early learning drop-in program offered on school days. Your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in story time where they will sing songs, and exercise during gym time (where applicable). You will complete a registration form on your first day. Please also be prepared to provide legal proof of identification for your child.

Here is a chance to pick your cherries. If it’s not raining, pack a lunch, and bring the family and lots of friends! They will supply the pails, but feel free to bring boxes, containers, and bags.

The KF Centre for Excellence in Kelowna is a 60,000-square-foot aviation exhibit that offers an exciting and interactive experience for families. Located near Kelowna International Airport, this family-friendly destination features a historic aircraft collection, hands-on exhibits, and flight simulators that allow visitors to step into the world of aviation. The facility is wheelchair accessible and open year-round, Tuesday to Saturday. Please be sure to check their website before visiting for special event exceptions to these hours.

Kinsmen Park in Kelowna is a beautiful park on the water featuring a large grassy area shaded by tall trees, a playground, tennis courts, and picnic tables, making it ideal for families and casual gatherings. While there’s no sandy beach, visitors can access Okanagan Lake via steps along the retaining wall, and seasonal washroom facilities are available on-site.

KLO Farm Market is a charming family-owned fruit stand that brings the best of farm-fresh produce to the community. Since 2019, this market has been offering a variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs, dairy products, meats, sauces, and more. Kids will love meeting the friendly farm animals, including goats, a pig, ducks, and more.

Kuipers Family Fruit Farm offers a classic u-pick experience of in-season cherries, apricots, peaches, and plums.

Located in downtown Kelowna, Lakefront Sports Centre sits right on Okanagan Lake and offers rentals like boats, jet skis, paddleboards, and e-bikes for easy outdoor adventures.
