Okanagan Falls

Christie Memorial Park features beach volleyball courts, picnic tables, benches, seasonal public washrooms, change rooms and of over an acre of beach. The park includes a designated enclosed beach area where dogs can safely play and swim.

Set on a hillside with views of Skaha Lake and surrounding vineyards, this park offers a natural woodchip playground with a slide connecting two play zones, along with swings and a teeter-totter. While there’s little shade throughout the park, families can find some relief under the gazebo. On-site washrooms with change tables and picnic areas make it a convenient stop for families with young kids.

John Bell Playground in Okanagan Falls, set within Kenyon Park, has a mix of equipment for younger and older kids. The larger play structure includes tall slides, a climbing wall, monkey bars, and a mini track ride, while a smaller structure with two slides is great for toddlers. Nearby, there are swings (both bucket and traditional), oversized tires, two sand diggers by the beach, and a four-person teeter-totter. The park also has picnic tables, benches, and seasonal washrooms. The OK Falls Spray Park sits right next to the playground, with Christie Memorial Park just down the path.

Kenyon Park is a popular family-friendly spot on the south end of Skaha Lake. It offers a vibrant playground, spray park, and a shallow sandy beach—perfect for little ones.

Meyer Family Vineyards in Okanagan Falls offers a relaxed setting where parents can sample award-winning wines. The lawn is a great place for kids to enjoy some space to play.

OK Falls Spray Park features interactive water elements, including tipping buckets and spray nozzles, providing endless fun for kids of all ages. With nearby access to the beach, John Bell Playground, and convenient street parking. There are seasonal washrooms, picnic tables and benches nearby.

The elementary school doubles as a community centre on weekends and evenings, and the gymnasium is a perfect venue for your child’s birthday party.

The Okanagan Falls Heritage Museum, located beside Tickleberry’s Ice Cream and the Thrift Shoppe, offers a step back into the everyday life of early settlers in the South Okanagan. Through carefully preserved rooms, vintage furnishings, and local artifacts, visitors can see how families lived, worked, and relaxed over a century ago.

The Okanagan Falls Library, part of the Okanagan Regional Library, is a charming and kid-friendly spot perfect for young families. Inside, you’ll find more than just books—there’s a playful puppet theatre, a big community puzzle table, and shelves stocked with board games and activities for all ages. Younger children will especially enjoy the designated play area, complete with wooden puzzles, and LEGO bins.
