Peachland

13th Street Viewpoint Beach in Peachland is a quiet, scenic spot at Beach Avenue and 13th Street along the Okanagan Lake waterfront. The shoreline is rocky, so water shoes are helpful. Large trees provide shade on the grassy area above the beach, with picnic tables perfect for relaxing or enjoying lunch. A fun feature on the wooden boardwalk is a set of colourful outdoor musical instruments that kids can play while taking in the lake views. Across the street, you’ll find Bliss Bakery and a few small shops. In the summer, Splash BC sets up their Wibit Water Park here for extra fun.

Antlers Beach Regional Park in Peachland is a peaceful lakeside stop just off Highway 97, right before entering Peachland if you're driving from Penticton. With pebbly rocks, clear water, picnic tables, benches, a dock, and washrooms, it's a great place to take a break and enjoy the lake — and the perfect spot to teach the kids how to skip rocks.

Chevallier Park is a small neighbourhood park in Peachland, accessed from Desert Pines Avenue, and a great spot for kids to burn off some energy. The playground is best suited for ages 5–12 and includes climbing features and balance elements, along with a picnic table and open grassy space. You will see community mailboxes right at the entrance at the park.

Elliot Avenue Park is a small neighbourhood park located on a quiet residential street in Peachland. The playground is simple and geared toward younger kids, with a slide, balance steps, and a couple of swings. There’s also a grassy area that’s great for running around or enjoying a casual picnic.

Heritage Park in Peachland features a playground with slides, swings, and climbing structures, alongside the Heritage Park Splash Pad for summer water play. There are open grassy areas and picnic tables throughout the park. Seasonal public washrooms are located across the street near the Peachland Museum, with shops and restaurants also nearby.

Located along Highway 97 across from Peachland Village Mall, this area includes tennis and pickleball courts, a skate park, an outdoor fitness area, and a paved walkway that runs through the site. Open green space and nearby amenities make it a practical place to spend time outdoors.

Tucked against a hillside and surrounded by tall trees, Morrison Park is a quiet neighbourhood park offering a nature-filled playtime setting. The playground features a slide, climbing areas, monkey bars, and wide stairs. The wood chip surface and shaded backdrop make it a great place for the kids to play, while the nearby green space provides room to run or relax.

Parrot Island is a non-profit sanctuary for rescued parrots. Visit the sanctuary to learn about the parrots, their expected life, and how we as humans can prevent the breeding of these birds by keeping them in their natural habitat. Outside the building on neighbouring property, you will find miniature horses for the kids to watch in action.
