Ringo-en Orchards invites you to their fields for a u-pick adventure, where you can harvest your own apples, tomatoes, and peppers directly from the plant.

South Vernon Park is a neighbourhood park in Vernon with two play structures featuring a tube slide, curved slide, side by side slides, climbing elements, and two traditional swings. There's also a basketball court, grassy area, a bench and picnic table.

Splashdown Vernon is a family waterpark perfect for all ages! The park features 10 slides, an extra-large hot tub, many amenities, and relaxing VIP Cabanas – all overlooking the extraordinary view of Swan Lake in the Okanagan. Stenquist Park in Coldstream is a fun stop for families, with a playground featuring slides, monkey bars, climbing elements, and a swing set with both a bucket and traditional swing. There's lots of grass to run around nearby, plus a picnic table and parking lot for easy visits.

Sunrise Park in Vernon features a play structure with a spiral slide, a straight double slide, a curved slide, a rock climbing wall, and monkey bars, along with a couple of standalone spinner and ring elements nearby. Traditional swings are set up alongside the structure, and benches and large boulders line the play area. The playground sits on a grassy park space with a nice area for the kids to run around.

Swan Lake Market & Garden in Vernon is a great stop for families, with over 30 flavours of hard ice cream, a fun kids’ playzone, and plenty of healthy grab-and-go options from the Bakery and Deli.
