Climb at The Rock Garden Climbing Centre, Vernon's only indoor climbing gym! Welcoming climbers of all ages and abilities, this all-inclusive, air-conditioned venue spans 4000 sq ft. It’s equipped with a dedicated bouldering section, top-rope challenges, and a unique bouldering cave in the mezzanine. Adventures rise above 19 vertical feet, making it an ideal choice for family enjoyment. Book an indoor rock climbing party for some birthday fun. Your booking includes 1.5 hours of climb time and 1 hour in their party room.

The Aquatic Centre consists of two pools. There is a 25-metre, 8-lane pool for lap swimming and a separate free-form leisure pool. In addition, the facility provides a steam room, sauna, whirlpool, waterslide, one-metre diving board, rope swing, and lots of other fun things for the whole family. Life jackets are available to rent and lockers are available for 25 cents.

Located at Kal Tire Place, the Vernon Farmers' Market operates both summer and winter markets.

The Vernon Museum Exhibit Space is open to the public for drop ins from Wednesday to Saturdays. They offer a mini-scavenger hunt around the museum for kids and a recently refurbished children’s area that captures the magic of the North Okanagan’s Natural History.
