Skaha Lake Park offers everything families need—beaches, playgrounds, splash pad, and lots of space to play and picnic. Highlights include Rotary Play World, Discovery Park, beach slides, and courts for sports like volleyball and basketball. Seasonal washrooms, food stands, and free parking make it an easy day out in Penticton.

Located down from Skaha Beach in Penticton, Sudbury Beach offers a quieter lakeside experience with sand, a concession stand, and lake rentals like paddleboards and kayaks. It’s a great spot for a relaxed beach day, with washrooms and a fire pit available. Shade is limited, so be sure to bring an umbrella or sun protection.

One of the more popular beaches in the South Okanagan, Sun-Oka Beach is located off Highway 97, between Penticton and Summerland. Here you will find a beautiful sandy beach stretched on Okanagan Lake, a playground, fire pits, picnic tables, drinking water fountains, a dog beach, watersport rentals, washrooms, and change rooms.

Tugboat Bay, located in Waterfront Park near the Dolphins Waterscape and Delta Grand Hotel, features a sandy beach, designated swim area, and scenic walking trails. It's an ideal spot to pair a relaxing beach day with a stroll through the Rotary Marsh Park where you can spot a variety of birds or take a visit to downtown Kelowna.  

W.J. Tuey Regional Park is a quiet riverside escape featuring a sandy beach, grassy picnic spots, and a swing set. It’s popular with families and locals looking to cool off, but water safety is essential due to strong currents. A dog-friendly area nearby makes it a good stop for the whole family.

Willow Beach in West Kelowna offers a sandy beach area, volleyball court, and a grassy picnic space as well. Located along the Gellatly Bay trail, it’s a great stop for families wanting to have a beach day in West Kelowna.

Features a rocky/pebble shoreline with a dock and benches. Some large trees for shade. A grassy area with benches and picnic tables provides a perfect spot for eating.

The beach park features a designated swim area and a dock/swim raft for visitors to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water. A picnic area is also available, providing a perfect spot for families and friends to gather and enjoy a meal with a stunning view. It is important to note that dogs are not allowed in the park.

Located on Wood Lake just pull off of Pelmewash Parkway and the beach will be on your right.
